# Stream.Team Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 June 2026
Stream.Team ("the app") is a task manager for small teams developed by gilsou.com ("we," "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and what it does not.
The short version
We do not run any servers. Your data lives in your iCloud account.
We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
The app uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit to sync and share your tasks. We have no access to anything you create.
There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracker of any kind.
What the app stores
When you use Stream.Team it creates and stores the following on your device and in your private iCloud account:
- Profile: the name and (optional) email you enter, plus an optional avatar photo you choose from your photo library.
- Teams, tasks, labels, comments: everything you create inside the app.
- Preferences: app settings like appearance mode and reminder toggles, stored in the system user defaults.
All of this is stored locally and mirrored to your iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. It syncs to your other Apple devices signed in to the same Apple ID, and to teammates you explicitly invite to a team.
Sharing a team
When you invite someone to a team, Stream.Team uses Apple's CloudKit Sharing (CKShare). Apple delivers the invite; we are not involved. The invitee's name and email may become visible to other team members once they accept. We never see this information.
Optional integrations
You may choose to enable any of these features. They are off by default and request your permission the first time:
Apple Reminders — when enabled per-task, Stream.Team writes the task title, notes, due date, and URL to a dedicated "Stream.Team" list in Apple Reminders.
Apple Calendar — when enabled per-task, Stream.Team writes the task as an event on a dedicated "Stream.Team Tasks" calendar.
Notifications — when enabled, the app schedules local notifications ahead of due dates. These are scheduled and delivered by iOS/macOS; we do not see them.
Photos — when you tap the avatar picker, the app uses Apple's photo picker to load a single image. We do not read or index your photo library.
You can revoke any of these at any time in System Settings.
What the app does NOT do
No account creation. No password. No email signup.
No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting service, or A/B testing framework.
No advertising or third-party SDKs.
No tracking across apps or websites (App Tracking Transparency prompt is not required and is not shown).
No location data.
No microphone or camera access.
Data retention and deletion
Delete a task, label, or team in the app — it is removed from your device and from iCloud within seconds.
Delete the app — local data is removed from that device. Data in your iCloud account remains until you delete it via Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → Stream.Team.
Sign out of iCloud — the app stops syncing. Existing local data stays on the device until you delete the app.
Children's privacy
Stream.Team is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
